Starz wants 50 Cent to produce 3 new shows for their network
G-Unit founder and South Jamaica Queens rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has a lot to celebrate about this year. Music fans are anxiously waiting for his latest album, but Fifty struck gold in the television and film world. His hit drama show Power is the highest rated show on Starz and just finish wrapping up their fourth season. The final episode of the fourth season of Power ended on a cliffhanger and with Fifty, who is the shows producer had some harsh criticism of the network executives at Starz by saying unsubscribe to the network, so viewers did not know the will show be returning for a fifth season.
So Fifty took to instagram to make the announcement that Power will be returning for a fifth season, and also that he will be producing three new shows as well. “I just got off with Chris Albrecht, head of STARZ. New Deal More POWER coming your way, next season there will be less of a Wait,” The “In the Club” rapper stated the amount of money they offered him for the new deal that his hands began shaking. He also disregarded his previous statements about Starz and he told his instagram followers “TURN THAT SHIT BACK ON NOW.”

Jackson also revealed that the three new shows are tentatively titled Tomorrow Today, I Got Away, and BMF, which the latter BMF known as Black Mafia Family is about infamous drug dealer Big Meech. However, there is no timetable when the aforementioned shows will begin production, but Power is set for a 2018 release. Until Power returns and the other shows have a release date you can turn your channel to BET, where his late night talk show 50 Central that will air on Sept.27th.
