In 2018, Blu and Shafiq Husayn collaborated on the mixtape “The Blueprint”. This project was a fusion of Blu’s lyrical prowess and Shafiq’s eclectic production style. The mixtape paid homage to the streets of LA, capturing the essence of their hometown.
Shafiq Husayn’s production credits extend to artists like Erykah Badu, Anderson .Paak, Jurassic 5, and Ice-T, among others. His ability to craft diverse and captivating music has made him a sought-after collaborator.
This three piece wing dinner EP starts with the laid back with your windows down single “Roll Up” featuring Jimetta Rose, Donel Smokes, and Tiron, followed by the instrumental. The track “Very Amazing” offers a very different vibe.
