Willie Rogers Last Surviving Member Of Tuskegee Airmen Passes Away At 101

The last remaining member of the Tuskegee Airmen Willie Rogers has passed away at the age of 101. Mr.Rogers was drafted in 1942 and served in the 100th Air Engineer Squad and the Red Tails Angels.

The Tuskegee Airmen was a group of African-American pilots that served during World War II and they were the first in history to serve in WWII. President George W.Bush presented Willie Rogers with the Congressional Gold Medal. Rogers lived in St.Petersburg, FL for the last 50 years.
