Pop, Rock, and Soul, singer-songwriter Lara Johnston possess a powerful and, dynamic voice. She has a very deep soulful voice that can capture and captivate a listeners heart and soul. She is very comparable to Norah Jones and dare I say Teena Marie. Lara currently ranks #3 on the Reverbnation Charts.
Lara is no stranger to the stage by the way. The Missouri native has toured extensively, both as a solo artist and as a backing vocalist for artists like Don Henley and Belinda Carlisle. In the past few years, Lara has opened for KISS, Heart, and Willie Nelson. She also recently made appearances on The Wendy Williams Show and Piers Morgan Tonight, duetting with America’s Got Talent winner Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr.
She has also rocked some legendary music venues such as the NYC rock club The Bitter End, the Kennedy Center as part of the American Voices festival, and performed at the Sundance Film Festival.
