South side Chicago native Ellis Martin has created a signature sound he’s labeled “Molly Pop.” Which he presents lyrics that deliver cleverly twisted cynicism and satire, the artist marries his oftentimes shocking lyrics with a fusion sound of classic Motown soul and ultramodern EDM.
His new EP, produced by Jidenna from Janelle Monáe’s Wondaland label. Check out his latest single “You’re Kinda Crazy”!. It has a upbeat 80’s feel with some funk. The song will make you move and the production is tight.
