The nominees of the 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been announced and it consists of some heavy hitters in the industry. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees for 2021 goes as follows Tina Turner, Dionne Warwick, Chaka Khan, LL Cool J, Jay-Z, Fela Kuti, Foo Fighters, The Go-Gos, and Rage Against The Machine among others.
There are 16 acts in total that got nominated and the top vote getters will be announced in May and will be inducted this fall in Cleveland, Ohio, where the Hall of Fame is held. LL Cool J has been on the ballot 6 times and Chaka Khan and Rage Against the machine have been on the ballot 3 times.

To be eligible an artist or group’s single or album had to be released in 1995 or earlier. Carole King is also nominated as well, if King and Tina Turner get inducted they will be the second and third female since Stevie Nicks to enter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. Tina Turner has gotten in the Hall with her former bandmate and husband Ike Turner.
