photo credit Variety Power Book II to cast Mary J.Blige as underworld boss Starz network hit show Power that is produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is coming to an end in a few weeks, however the series will continue with Power Book II that will pick up where the previous show left off. Power Book II will feature some legendary artists that have been in some notable films and television series that would be Mary J.Blige and Method Man. Mary J.Blige will reportedly be cast as a leader on the criminal underworld and Method Man will portray attorney Davis Maclean. RECOMMENDED: METHOD MAN & REDMAN HEADLINE 5TH ANNUAL D.C. CANNABIS FESTIVAL Method Man and Mary J.Blige have added to their acting resume with a slew of memorable roles and receiving critically acclaimed for the characters they have portrayed on the small and silver screen. Mary J.Blige was nominated by the Oscars in 2017 for Best Supporting Actress for role as Florence Jackson in the film Mudbound. She has a recurring role in the Netflix series Umbrella Academy. Method Man has starred in HBO's The Wire, which critics deemed to be one of the top series of all time and another HBO series Deuce. He just recently starred in Tracy Morgan's series The Last OG. The Power Book II spinoff is set to air sometime this year while the Power series finale will end February 9th.
