Get Out receives four Oscar nominations Comedienne Tiffany Haddish from the hit movie Girls Trip was one of the few actors chosen to announce the nominees for 90th Academy Awards, that will air live on March 4th. The groundbreaking film Get Out received four nominations for this year's Oscars. Daniel Kaluuya, who was the lead for Get Out is nominated for Best Actor, Jordan Peele, who wrote and directed the film received two nominations for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, and Get Out got the nomination for Best Picture as well. Even though Daniel Kaluuya gave a great performance for Get Out and he is in the company of some of top billing actors for the Best Actor category. Because Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, and Daniel Day Lewis are nominated as well. Washington and Oldman worked together on the film The Book of Eli. A nomination that caught some by surprise was Mary J.Blige for Best Supporting Actress in the film Mudbound, and she will be nominated along side Octavia Spencer, and Laurie Metcalf as well.
