Asia Star Is Taking Hip Hop To Another Level With The Release of Fresh Heir Fresh faces make their music debut every year and disappear into oblivion without much fanfare or gaining any traction. Rapper Asia Star is primed to make an impact in 2021 and beyond, dropping her highly anticipated album Fresh Heir today. What separates great rappers from good rappers is the ability to tell a story and pull a listener into their world. This is exactly what the DMV product does with the unique ability to captivate a listener with lyricism. I was invited to the a early listening session for the new album and I was mesmerized from start to finish. I am a true hip hop head from the Golden Ages when rappers like Nas, Ice Cube, Biggie, and Wu Tang Clan reigned supreme. Asia is a throwback to that era but with modern day production. Nas is known as one of the best story tellers in the history of hip hop music when he took the world by storm with release of Illmatic. This is not a stretch by any imagination but Asia has the innate ability for a audience to feel her pain, grit and determination. A music artist is supposed to create a visual with words that others can imagine in their own minds, but very few artist have the capability to do this. Asia Star accomplishes this feat with Fresh Heir . There are very few rappers that standout in this day in age because most of them play it safe with the same run of the mill if it's not broke don't fix format. Asia goes outside of the box embodying pinpoint lyrics of creative poetry with vivid details of life. The album speaks about how to to survive on the streets from the Cap Heights area of D.C. not knowing where her next meal was going to come from to a financial guru. She is a master trader in the currency exchange market. She also created a team called Financial Freedom Club (FFC) and loves educating people about financial literacy. This is definitely one of the dopest albums I have heard in a long time from start to finished. My favorite track is "Block Chain", as digital currency is taking over the global market. "Hol Time" brings that DMV braggadocious flavor. She spit fire on the record "Scoreboard" , New Estates, Large Estates we made it / Acorn now a tree / turn wood into paper".
