Stand up comic and actor Chris Rock\u00a0just reached a mutli-million dollar deal with the popular streaming service Netflix. Rock will be paid a reportedly $40 million dollars for two specials. The SNL alum signed on to do two stand up specials for Netflix. The first will be filmed next year and it is to believed he will be paid $20 million for each special making him the highest paid stand up comic. "Chris Rock is a beloved actor and director, and his remarkable stand-up makes him comic royalty. There is no one like him, and Netflix offers the global platform and creative freedom that will serve as a perfect home for someone with his incredible talent,\u201d Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement Rock's stand up specials have broken box office records and have become instant classic such as Bring The Pain, Bigger & Blacker, and Don't Shoot The Messenger.\u00a0His 2014's Top Five\u00a0was a hit at the box office, a film which he wrote and directed. \u201cI'm very excited to be working with Ted and Lisa and all the good people at Netflix. I can't wait to get back on stage," Rock said.
