Reggae Artist Kirk Diamond Delivers Empowering New Single "Ruler" Kirk Diamond continues to push the influence of reggae music internationally. The JUNO Award-winning and four-time nominee Reggae legend delivers a new single "Ruler" (feat. Slim Flex). Diamond is profoundly aware of his own influence through music. The dedicated social activist continues to expand messages of unity, love and inclusion, joined by the Movement of Ahryel with the single Ruler. The Brampton singer, songwriter, producer captures nostalgic melodies seamlessly blending current production methods and the traditions of Reggae. The track features tasteful synths paired perfectly with pulsing percussion and slamming strings. Lyrically, "Ruler" serves as a message of empowerment self-loving, and self-reflection. The lyrics of the song makes it a feel-good, motivating track. But most importantly, it serves as a declaration of self-acceptance, self-love and self-worth. Previously, Diamond was spotlighted on CBC Music’s 10 Canadian Reggae Artists You Need To Hear while his smash single “Love Inna We Heart” held the #1 spot on the Canadian Reggae Chart for over 19 weeks. “Greater” went on smash through to the #1 spot, running six weeks consecutive with a total of 42 weeks on the charts; “Greater” was also awarded a JUNO in 2018.
