Legendary singer and musician Stevie Wonder recruited RnB sensation Ariana Grande with a new track “Faith” featured on the animated film Sing.
Ariana talked about how excited the experience was to work with her musical idol Stevie Wonder on a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, “I’m done now,” she said. “I’m good now…That’s it for me. Not only did I get to sing with him, but we were in the same booth…me and Stevie Wonder arm-in-arm, holding hands in the booth, singing together, laughing, having a good time.”
Ryan Tedder and Benny Blanco, two of pop’s biggest producers, wrote the song for the film that features the voices of Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon.
The new single is very upbeat and the two singers unleash powerful vocals over a bluesy melody. “I got faith in you, baby/ I got faith in you, now/ And you been such a good good friend to me.”
The soundtrack to Sing will be available on Dec. 9, while the movie hits theaters on Dec. 21. Listen to the new single below.
