Amsterdam Native Sarah-Jane Releases A Funky Soul Single “Water”

Right out the gate Amsterdam native Sarah-Jane hits you with her big voice and but with smoothness.  She showcases her vocal talent on her new single “Water” from her upcoming album Black Magic schedule for release September 22.  The single is accompanied by cool visuals.

The Netherlands have produced some great soul acts such as Alain Clark, Sabrina Starke, CB Milton, so Sarah walking right in their footsteps.  Sarah has paid her dues as background singer for some of Dutch finest soul singers Glennis Grace and Sabrina Starke, as well as the famous Rita Marley.

In a short time she has quickly raised her profile, launching her solo career and released her first EP called Deigh & Nite.  In May 2014 her first single ‘Psychedelic Love’ led her to get nominated for a Radio 6 award.   Sarah was able to snag the award for the Amsterdam Pop price 2014 contest.

Not only she a hit on the stage but also a guest of the biggest talk show on Dutch national television “De Wereld Draait Door” where she also performed her single ‘Psychedelic Love’ In January 2015.  She also performed at the major North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam.   North Sea Jazz is the largest indoor music festival in the world, known globally as the event where the past, present and future of jazz are featured within three days. Next to a firm base of jazz many genres will pass by, such as blues, soul, funk, hip hop, world, pop and much more.
