Tupac Shakur is hailed as one of the best emcees and most respected artist in Hip Hop history. Til this day other artists give praise to 2Pac. Detroit emcee Marshall “Eminem” Mathers paid respect to Pac’s mother Afeni Shakur with a hand written letter. The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain, Georgia has a copy of a hand-written letter. Eminem also sent the Hip Hop matriarch a drawing of her son.

“You have no idea how much your son and his music inspired, not only the ‘Hip Hop’ world, but speaking for myself, has inspired my whole career,” wrote Eminem.

He later adds, “[2Pac] gave me the courage to stand up and say, ‘F*ck the world! This is who I am! And if you don’t like it, go f*ck yourself!’”
