Imagine Etta James, Doris Day, and Ella Fitzgerald all embodied in one person. Well Atlanta based singer Ruby Woo is that person full of talent. Ruby can Woo a crowd with her big voice and her big band era style. She may have a old soul but sound is a combination of Amy Winehouse and Janelle Monae with a side of Adele. Ruby Woo is a versatile artist who made her debut performance in church when her stepsister boldly offered her voice for a solo. “I never really shared with anyone that I could sing,” she recounts. “My step-sister was the one who volunteered me for my first solo and after that I sang all the time. Singing is just who I am. I do it because it makes me happy and I can’t imagine my life without music.”

Ruby has been making her way in the business currently ranking top 10 on Reverbnation and doing tours with her song Can’t Leave Him Alone. Recently the California native has toured around Atlanta and performed at the SXSW Festival.
