You cannot pinpoint one unique sound in Seattle’s hip hop scene because it is uniquely diverse.Hawkins embodies Seattle hip-hop’s identity intelligent, idiosyncratic, progressive, and diversity. The Seattle artist has been putting in work sharing the stage with Hip Hop heavyweights Mos Def, and Red Cafe. He is known for quick-witted rhymes, but he also has a very Drake-influenced flow and is not afraid to use his singing voice to make his songs full-circle. This is style is self evident on his latest singles “Hold Me Down”, and “Love” teaming up with QB Productions out of Atlanta.
