Canadian Bombshell Singer Carsen Gray Is the Next Star To Shine

Hailing from Haida Gwaii, BC, Carsen Gray is indigenous (Haida) and mixed descent, singer and songwriter creates songs filled with warmth, empathy and attention to literary detail. Life is her canvas board and paints her journey through music.

The Canadian born songstress breakthrough came in 2017 with her debut self titled album Carsen Gray, which garnished her with an award – “Best New Artist” presented by SiriusXM, at the Indigenous Music Awards. Carsen Gray also received 2 nominations “Best Pop Album” and Best Radio Single for “Supernatural.”

Proud on her Aboriginal ethnicity, Carsen performed for the Aboriginal Peoples Television network (APTN) Aboriginal Day Live in Vancouver, B.C which propelled her into a realm of appreciated live performance, which she collaborated with her father, Robert Gray, known to have played along side Nick Gilder in the band “Sweeney Todd”, and niece of Bobby Taylor, most noted for his discovery and mentoring of Michael Jackson – The King of Pop.

The Canadian bombshell has one of the most beautiful and captivating voices of this generation. Her voice is full of energy and life giving life to her music.


Her latest single Little One was written for her and Dad, and fell in love with the lyrics.

“The song really made me think about my children and the love I have for them. How children come into the world so perfect, pure and innocent, but somehow our hearts become hardened as we grow older and experience the hardships of life.”

“He always wanted me to sing one of his songs. I really didn’t know how it was supposed to flow, or the melodies he had in mind, but it just came out naturally and without much thought. I know he would have been proud to hear it.”
