Nas Receives Honorary Medal From Harvard University

Queensbridge representative Nasir Jones aka Nas is the recent recipient of the W.E.B. DuBois Medal. Harvard University awarded the emcee with this medal for his contributions to the African-American culture and arts,as well as human rights and understanding of other cultures.

Boxing legend Muhammed Ali andCharlayne Hunter-Gault who is the first black woman to enroll in the University of Georgia are the other honorees.
