Nas has dropped his new album Magic 3, and it features a fire collaboration with Lil Wayne on a track called “Never Die”. The New Orleans emcee is the only feature on the album.

Nas and Lil Wayne are two of the most iconic and influential rappers of all time. They have both been praised for their lyrical skills, storytelling abilities, and longevity in the music industry.  The song is produced by Hit-Boy and features a sample of Smokey Robinson’s “Who’s Lovin’ You”.

The song is a hard-hitting track about the rappers’ longevity and staying power in the rap game.  Nas and Lil Wayne trade verses about their past achievements and their plans for the future. They also address the criticism they have faced over the years.

The song has been praised by critics and fans alike. It has been called a “masterpiece” and a “classic”. The collaboration between Nas and Lil Wayne is a testament to their status as two of the greatest rappers of all time.

It is the third time that Nas and Lil Wayne have collaborated. They previously worked together on the songs “My Generation” from Nas and Damian Marley’s 2010 album, Distant Relatives, and the outro of Lil Wayne’s 2011 album, Tha Carter IV.

Earlier in the week Nas announced with the release of Magic 3

this will be the final installment in the Magic series and the end of his partnership with producer Hit-Boy.

“I want to thank everyone for taking this ride with @hitboy & I,” Nas wrote on social media. “It’s been nothing short of Magical!”

Soon after, Hit-Boy confirmed that it will be their final drop, writing: “Nas is dropping his last Hit-Boy produced album on his 50th bday this thursday. Magic 3 [crying emoji, three magic wand emojis]. Those are tears of joy btw. thank you to any and everyone who has listened and supported the movement.”

The superduo released six albums in four years, creating the one of the most historical run in Hip-Hop history, along with a Grammy win for Best Rap Album in 2020 for King’s Disease.
