Michelle Obama’s Rap Lands A Spot On Billboard’s Chart

Yes, Yes Ya’ll Michelle Obama can spit bars. First Lady Michelle Obama College humor rap landed a spot On Billboards Chart. The comedy hip-hop collaboration with Saturday Night Live‘s Jay Pharaoh debuted at No. 26 on the Billboard Twitter Top Tracks chart.

With her listing, Michelle joins her husband, President Barack Obama, as a Billboard-charting artist and possibly the only government duo to ever make a placement on it. Originally, the song held the No. 1 spot for 11 nonconsecutive hours on Dec. 10th and 11th. The video has FLOTUS rhyming about the importance of attending college and also appears on her “Better Make Room” and “Reach Higher” initiatives.

The First Lady has always been a positive advocate for the youth since being in the White House. The Obama’s have a thing for good hip hop music. Michelle and Barack Obama’s listed Kendrick Lamar’s song “How Much A Dollar Cost” as one of their favorites in 2015
