It’s almost been a month since the passing of Rock legend David Bowie and details of his will have been released. Bowie’s estate is reportedly worth an estimated $100 million dollars. The will was prepared in 2004, with Bowie asking that if cremation in Bali was “not practical,” that he instead be cremated locally and then have his ashes scattered on the Indonesian island.
As for Bowie’s estate, the singer left half of his net worth and his SoHo apartment in New York to his supermodel wife Iman. His two children Duncan Jones and Alexandria Jones each received 25 percent of his estate, with the latter also given the family’s upstate New York property. Bowie also left his longtime assistant Corinne Schwab $2 million and shares in a company called Opossum Inc. and gifted Alexandria’s one-time nanny $1 million.
Bowie was cremated on Jan.12th and the will was filed under his real legal name David Robert Jones, and in accordance to his will no funeral will be held of the Rock icon.
