Dave aka Plug 2 appears on The Gorillaz new album Cracker Island

It has been almost a month when the Hip Hop community were shocked by the news that Dave who went by Trugoy the Dove aka Plug 2 from De La Soul

had passed away from congestive heart failure, however his spirit and music lives on. Dave’s legacy will continue with the help of frequent collaborators The Gorillaz.

The British rock band just recently released their album Cracker Island,

this marks The Gorillaz eight studio album that is heavy with collaborations. Besides Dave from De La Soul, Del the Funky Homosapien who appears on “Captain Chicken,” and Brazil’s MC Bin Laden that is featured on “Controllah.” The three tracks are apart of the deluxe edition of Cracker Island their last release was 2020’s Song Machine, Season One:Strange Timez.
