Big Pun gets own street in the Bronx
The late great Christopher Lee Rios better known as Big Pun will be getting his own street named after him in the Bronx, which is the birthplace of Hip Hop.
The name of the street and location has been revealed and the street will be called Big Pun Plaza and it will be located at Grand Concourse and Fordham Rd. in the Bronx.

Big Pun was one of the founding members of rap crew Terror Squad that is led by Fat Joe that consisted of members Remy Ma, Cuban Link, Armageddon, Tony Sunshine, Triple Seis, and Prospect. Big Pun rose to fame with his critically acclaimed 1998 debut Capital Punishment making him the first Latin rapper to go platinum. His sophomore album Yeeeah Baby was posthumous released in April of 2000 two months prior to his death, where he suffered a heart attack.
No word yet on the date when Big Pun Plaza will be revealed to the public.
