.Paak and K.Dot get down Tints
Last month Anderson.Paak announced he was collaborating with MC Kendrick Lamar for his upcoming project Oxnard, well music fans do not have to wait any longer. Because the Aftermath artist released his most anticipated track with K.Dot on Dr.Dre’s Beats1 radio show on Zane Lowe on October 4th.
ANDERSON TALKS ABOUT HIS UPCOMING OXNARD PROJECT
The Anderson.Paak song that features Kendrick Lamar is called “Tints,” which the California artists their life being in the spotlight and their privacy is not respected. On the hook Anderson raps “I can’t be riding, riding around that open street/ I need tints/ Windows tinted, I need my windows tinted/ I can’t be flying down that 110 with a bad bitch in my whip.”
This not the first time .Paak and TDE’s flagship artist Kendrick Lamar collaborated. The two were featured on Dr.Dre’s 2015’s Compton album and K.Dot recruited .Paak for Marvel’s Black Panther movie soundtrack. Also during the Zane Lowe’s interview .Paak revealed that G.O.O.D Music president Pusha T, who released his album Daytona and Dreamville’s founder J.Cole, who also released his album this year will appear on Oxnard as well.
It was also revealed that Dr.Dre has finished mixing Oxnard and it is was ready for release, however no date has been announced, but check out the Kendrick Lamar collab Tints below
