Actor and singer Mack Wilds will star in the VH1 movie The Breaks.
The movie centers around three friends who share their love of hip hop and try to rise above the ills of life in New York in 1990 and try to make their way in the music business.
The film was inspired by Dan Charnas’ book entitled The Big Payback
, a narrative history of the hip-hop business, and its written, directed and executive produced by Seth Mann (The Wire, The Walking Dead, Homeland)
